iHospo is a Melbourne-built marketplace + paymaster for hospitality casual shifts. Cafés, bars and restaurants post a shift; verified workers apply; we hold the wage in trust and release it via NPP PayID the moment the venue approves the timesheet. Three lines on every invoice — wage, $10 platform fee, ten-cent NPP transfer. No markup, no bundled fees, no worker membership.
Why we exist
The existing hospo labour-hire stack offers cafés a choice between an opaque 22–28% bundled markup (Sidekicker, traditional agencies) and a per-shift fee that also charges the worker a monthly membership (Supp). Workers either get underpaid or pay to work. Cafés can't see what they're paying for. Both sides lose.
We started iHospo because the same shift, between the same café and the same worker, can be 25% cheaper for the café AND pay the worker more — if the platform between them stops taking a cut. Our entire revenue model is the $10 the café pays when a shift matches. The worker pays nothing. The award rate is the floor.
